People’s Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Government, Sumitomo Corporation and Thang Long Industrial Park II Corporation entered into MOU and reached the agreement about including the following activities as additional functions of Hung Yen Japan Desk.
1. Holding Job-fairs
2. Expanding the area for recruitment boards
3. Considering the construction of rental factories for Japanese supporting industries

The front row center is Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, the chairman of People’s Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Government.
The purposes of Hung Yen Japan Desk are the same as before, as follows:
I. Fast Track Application:
Our goal is to enable the acceleration of the application process to an agreed timetable of completion within 3 days of submission for obtaining all necessary permissions and approvals for implementing projects in Hung Yen, Vietnam.
II. The mobilisation of supporting industries in the province:
The Japan Desk, through HYIZA, will support the companies to check if they can get the incentives which the Vietnamese government has provided to supporting industries.
III. Enhancing quality of life of the workforce in the province:
To work with relevant authorities for improvement of living conditions and training environment for workers, which continue to generate an abundant work force in the Hung Yen province.
Hung Yen province would like to invite Japanese enterprises so as to strengthen the supporting industries and generate further employment opportunities for local people in Hung Yen.
