On October 19th, 2020, at Prime Minister Office, under the witness of the new Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Suga Yoshihide and Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment held a ceremony to hand over a Memorandum of Understanding on the expansion of Phase 3 investment of Thang Long Industrial Park II between representatives of Thang Long Industrial Park II Corporation, People’s Committee of Hung Yen Province and Sumitomo Corporation.
This is an event marking a new development milestone of Thang Long Industrial Park II with the potential to attract investors from Japan as well as other countries around the world, contributing to economic development for Hung Yen province in specific and further tightening the Vietnam-Japan relationship in general.
